Loop. Toward the end of the feeding period I added corn to the ration to up the energy content in the feed. This way my hog would gain more weight.
The hogs have to weigh between 180-260 lbs. to show at the Farm Show in July. My hog weighed about 70 lbs. when I bought it in April, ao the animal has a lot of gaining to do in four months.
My hog won reserve champion this year at the Farm Show, weighing between 225-230 lbs.
