mrs. v^narne l^uiara spent last week with her daughters and their families, Mrs. Linda Peerpoint at Alexandria and Mrs. Shirley Wade at Chantilly. Mr. Lillard joined her on Saturday and they returned home on Sunday.

‘Country Spirit’
Needs Crafts
Rappahannock County crafts people can participate in this year’s Third Annual Country Spirit Day to be held in The Plains, Va. on October 6.
The crafts festival is open to crafts people from Virginia as well as those from West Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Tennessee and Pennsylvania.
Other attractions planned for this year’s country festival include dancing by The Village Squares and singing by blues singer John Jackson of Rappahannock and the Free State Ramblers. There also will be bike and foot races, a parade and pig roast, carriage rides and a petting zoo.
