ble, 2 week bus tour with Tauck Tour Company through Los Angeles, San Diego, Yosemite National Park in the Sierra Nevada mountains (a great wilderness in east-central California), the Grand Canyon in Arizona, and ending the tour in Phoenix. One of their most memorable experiences was the helicopter ride through the colorful Grand Canyon early one morning. Hie changing light of the sun was casting shadows along the rocks and ridges causing beautiful lines and brilliant images for the Holschuh’s camera. They flew from Phoenix to Chicago where they visited Helen’s brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. John Stafford, in Wheaton, Illinois. After a pleasant night there, the Holschuhs came home to Castleton with many good memories and thoughts. Every man’s memory is his private literature...Aldous Huxley.
