The weather is different. The words are the same. Enough is enough. What are we talking about? During the first half of August, nine inches of rain fell and people were saying, “Enough is enough.” When the skies cleared and hardly any rain fell for the remainder of the month, we were saying, “This is more like it.” Smiles returned, dispositions changed and all was right with the world. Sure it was.

Following the deluge in early August, only a little rain fell. One week passed and .14 of an inch of rain fell. Another week passed with .08 of an inch of rain. And the remainder of August passed with a sprinkle or two. As a matter of fact, after the deluge in early August forty three days pannod with only one and a half inches of rain
