Seminar Oct. 24

Rappahannock Legal Services Inc. will sponsor an all-day training conference on family violence Oct. 24 at the Culpeper Holiday Inn.

Speakers will be Judge David F. Berry, Rachael Saunders, director of the Women’s Abuse Shelter, Ann Palamar, commonwealth’s attorney, and N. H. Scott, director of the 16th Judicial District Court Juvenile Probation Department.

All local attorneys, corrections officials, probation officers and Social Service Department workers are invited to participate.

There is no fee for pro bono attorneys. For others, there is a $10 luncheon and training fee.

Those interested should call the RLS office at 825-3131 for a reservation before Oct. 10.
