The Amiss ville club meets the fourth Monday of each month at 7-JO p.m. at Vickers’ home. Vickers has the help of Barbara Mueller as project leader for the dogs project.

Birgitt Thornhill, the 4-H Agricultural Agent, is willing to be an organisational leader for a community dub in the Woodville/Boaton area. Anyone interested in being a part of a dub in that area should call her at 907-8200.

**1716 in-school enrichment program has about 200 students involved through the fourth grade, and we need two more volunteers for that program,” Vickers said. “Katherine Early and Cheryl Stone were volunteers last year, and they did a fantastic job.”

The in-school program is an introduction to 4-H to generate interest in the youth so that community dubs will be established.

“Right now we're in a cycle where we’re not that large,” Vickers said. “There are opportunities in 4-H that people aren’t aware of or they’d be participating.

“A community dub is a cooperative effort between the county Extension staff, volunteers, adults and members,” said Vickers. “Activities include a business meeting each month, project work, and special activities that can earn the members and volunteers district, state, and national rewards and experiences.” Members are divided into a junior group for ages nine to 14, and a senior group for 15-19
