More than one-third of the teaching force in the Rappahannock County public school system — 24 among a staff of 69 — will be teaching in the county for the first time when doors open for students on Monday.
This year’s Rappahannock teacher turnover rate is higher than in the surrounding counties of Culpeper, Warren and Page. Culpeper will have 32 new teachers out of 275, Warren will have 38 out of 256 and Page will have 29 out of 216.
