Margaret M. Burke
Margaret Merchant Burke, 67, of 809 W. 11th St., Front Royal, died August 18 at her residence.
Mrs. Burke was bom in Warren County, the daughter of the late James and Dulcie Henry Jones. She was retired from Old Virginia, Inc.
Surviving are her husband, Eppie H. Burke; a son, Leonard Jones of Richmond; two stepsons, Charles H. Burke of Seabrook, Md., and James E. Burke of Sperryville; a stepdaughter, Dorothy Martin of Berryville; a sister, Elizabeth Ritenour of Front Royal; three half-sisters, Virginia Sears of Hagerstown, Md., Grace Henry of Front Royal and Anna Williams of Chester Gap; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral was held on August 21 at the Turner-Robe rtshaw Funeral Home, Front Royal, with the Rev. Paul Phillips officiating. Burial was in Panorama Memorial Gardens, Waterlick.
