Rappahannock County proved
to be a stronger market than most during the past year, according to a national survey of business.
The survey cited rising personal and family incomes and increased consumer spending in locai retail stores.
It averaged out, per household, to $5,947, compared to the year before average of $5,783. Rappahannock County retail stores were able to chalk up gross sales of $3,954 million.
