Sunday evening were Mrs. Etta Estes, Mrs. Mary Hudson and Mr. and Mrs. Frankie Hitt of Woodville.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Simmons were guests Sunday of Mr. Simmons’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Simmons in Woodbridge.

John Moulis and daughter Lisa of Silver Spring, Md., visited Mr. and Mrs. Ned Settle, Jimmie and “Bud” on Saturday evening. John is the Settles’ son-in-law.

Mrs. Emma Jenkins returned home Thursday after spending a week with her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Butler and family in McLean.

Mrs. Emily Fincham is a patient in Warren Memorial Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Jakubowicz and children, Kristin, Matthew and Andrea, of Syracuse, N. Y., arrived Sunday to spend a few days with Mr. and Mrs. John Schultz. Mr. and Mrs. Steven Sengstack and son Eric of Springfield joined the family on Sunday. Mrs. Jakubowicz and Mrs. Sengstack are the Schultzes’ daughters.

Mr. and Mrs. Brad Fisher and children, Tara and David, and Mr. and Mrs. Jennings Hobson and children, Jennings and Berkeley, returned home Saturday after spending two weeks at Nags Head, N. C. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Manson and daughter Amelia of Richmond spent the second week with the group.

Mark Bailey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bailey, participated in the 13th annual Ramblin’ Raft Race on the Potomac River on Saturday. The race was sponsored by radio station WAVA-105 FM. Mark and his crew of 18 came in first on a homemade 32-foot raft. This is the sixth year that the crew Mark was with has won. There was an article in the Sunday paper on it, and his parents saw him on television Saturday night.

The Frazier family reunion, held at the Rappahannock Park on Saturday, was great fun. Relatives and friends came from Vienna, Front Royal, Fairfax, Castleton, Washington and Maryland.
