Dinner for Extension Agent Notice to Extension Homemakers Club members: The dinner for the new Extension Agent will be held September 6 at 6:30 p.m.at the Rappahannock Recreation Park in Washington.
Coppage reunion The family of the late George and Florence Leake Coppage will hold a reunion September 8 at the Rappahannock Recreation Park on Route 211 near Washington. All relatives and friends are welcome. “Come and join us with love and fellowship,” said a family spokesperson. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m.
Energy conference The Industrial Wood Energy Conference will be held on September 18 at the Sheraton International Conference Center in Reston. The conference fee is $20 and the registration deadline is September 11. For additional information, call the Extension office at 675-3619.
Homemakers craft sale The 14th annual Culpeper County Extension Homemakers Craft Sale will be held on October 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Homemakers Building on the Culpeper Agricultural Enterprise grounds on Route 29 south. The sale will feature crafts and homemade food items prepared by members of the seven active clubs in Culpeper. Area crafters interested in space for demonstrations or sales should contact June Lewis at 9374352. Space is limited.
