Library aide, bus drivers appointed
The Rappahannock School Board made several appointments after its closed session August 13.
Kim Braader was named the new library aide for the elementary school. The board appointed Christine Timbers and Charles Jenkins to bus driver positions and Connie Huff will be a substitute driver.
The board also accepted the resignation of Monica Toman, a teacher, contingent upon the hiring of a suitable replacement.

Dr. Ann Baumgardner, a 1974 graduate of Rappahannock County High School, has joined the staff at Virginia Tech as a professor of psychology.
Ann received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1978 from Emory and Henry College and began work on her doctorate at the University of Missouri in 1981. She completed that work and was awarded a doctorate in Social Psychology with high honors.
Ann is the daughter of Ruth and Fanning Baumgardner of Washington.
