Ten or 20 years ago, it was infrequent to find physicians who gave pediatric care involved with a new baby and its parents earlier than at the time of delivery. Gradually times have changed.
Today, I want to introduce the term prenatal pediatric education. It refers to the concept that meeting between prospective parents and the baby*s future doctor can be very important to those who meet, as well as in the best interest of the child.
The most logical time for such a meeting is two or three months before the expected date of delivery. This allows the physician to assess the needs of the parents and help them in making
