Rollison’s preliminary hearing was scheduled for Aug. 12 in General District Court, but the case was continued to Sept. 9 because defense attorney Lynn is on vacation.
Mr. Foley said he probably would drop the two charges on Sept. 9 because the investigation won’t be complete. The prosecutor said he will send the two original and any additional charges straight to the grand jury which meets Sept. 23.
State Police are handling the case because investigators are specially trained in accounting. Special Agent Lindsey Jett has completed “intensive” training and knows how to interpret pay accounts and billing records, Mr. Foley said.
