The 18th and 19th of October, that time of Fall when the foliage in the Blue Ridge Mountains and the foothills should be its most colorful, is the time for the Thirtieth Annual Rappahannock County House Tour and Dried Flower Sale sponsored by the Churchwomen of Bromfield Parish, Trinity Episcopal Church, in historic Washington. Headquarters for the tour will be the Trinity Parish Hall.
Featured that weekend will be two 19th Century homes and one contemporary home. All will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Lunch will be provided by the women of Washington First Baptist Church on both days at Trinity Parish Hall. Tea will be served both afternoons at the Siira house, one of the homes open for the tour. Block tickets are on sale for $5.00 and tickets to individual houses for $2.00; the block ticket includes tea.
Caledonia Farm on State Rt. 628, 4.4 miles north of Washington is one of the houses on the tour.
