Monday
The business and news offices of the Rappahannock News will be closed Monday in observance of Labor Day.
In addition county and state offices will be closed as well as the banks, the county welfare offices, social service offices, post offices,
the Rappahannock County Library and the Family Guidance Services of Rappahannock. In case of an emergency, clinic staff may be reached by calling 675-3329.
The holiday schedule affects both news and advertising deadlines.
The deadline to place advertisements in the Horse and Farm Directory is noon Friday and 3 p.m. Friday is the deadline to place combination ads.
The display and classified deadlines remain unchanged at noon Tuesday.
The deadline for social news and club or agency reports is noon Tuesday, but it would be appreciated if non-dated material could be delivered before 5 p.m. Friday.
The Rappahannock News will reopen Tuesday morning.
