The Office of Continuing Education, at Lord Fairfax Community College, has scheduled Homesteading on Monday evenings from 6:309:30 p.m. at Sursum Corda, Washington, Virginia. The class begins on September 8th and the tuition is $51.00 for Virginia residents.
The course will survey contemporary practices in agriculture, animal husbandry, economics, and resources used in a sustainable homestead. Emphasis will be placed on healthful lifestyles, long term ecological stability and economic well-being.
