Senator Miller is a member of the Senate Transportation Committee, which will be meeting jointly with the Senate Finance Committee today in Richmond concerning the proposals to be considered at the special session.
“In addition, I am planning to attend the transportation briefing at Germanna Community College on August 29, at 9 a.m. That briefing will be held to acquaint the residents of the Culpeper highway district with the recommendations of the Governor’s commission,” the senator said. It will be given by Vivian E. Watts, Secretary of Transportation and Public Safety; Stuart W. Connock, Secretary of Finance; and Ray D. Pethtel, Highways and Transportation Commissioner.
