Rappahannock News photo/Lou Hatter GAIL ALLEN, 35, OF Mineral, Va., was charged with reckless driving as a result of this one-car accident Friday night on Rt. 211 outside of Washington. According to Trooper R. A. Baines, Ms. Allen was travelling east when she fell asleep. The car, a 1973 AMC Gremlin, ran off the left shoulder, swerved back across and off the right shoulder. It then ran up an embankment and overturned. Ms. Allen and a female juvenile were taken to Fauquier Hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries and released. Fire and rescue personnel from Washington and Sperryville and the Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene.
