The Virginia Commission for the Arts will present a Funding Opportunities and Application Workshop on Friday, September 12 from 2-5 p.m. in the Board Room of the Loudoun County Administration Building on the Courthouse Green in downtown Leesburg at the intersection of Market and King Streets (Rts. 7 & 15).
The Commission for the Arts’ next grants deadline is October 1. The workshop will acquaint artists, arts administrators, volunteers, members of non-profit organizations that program arts activities and other interested persons with grant and resource opportunities available through the VCA.
Cynthia Schaal, Regional Coordinator, will explain grant categories, guidelines, application procedures and the basics of grantwriting. In addition, Patricia Parks, Arts in Education Coordinator, will provide information about the Commission’s AIE program with its opportunities
