The stable to the rear has been converted to a workshop and the small building to the left, originally the ice house, to a studio serving the current owners, James and Nancy Thomasson, as work areas for furniture restoration and quilting and weaving respectively. Like Caledonia Farm, Heritage House also doubles as a bedand-breakfast. Featured here during the tour weekend will be demonstrations in the use of 18th Century tools, furniture restoration techniques, and Victorian floral crafts, the latter by representatives of the Smithsonian.
