All-time favorite Broadway musical tunes will be the highlight of a musical extravaganza to be presented by Culpeper Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

Follies ’86 “Broadway Rhythms,” will be presented at Culpeper County High School on September 24 and 25 at 8 p.m.

Proceeds from the shows will be used to help purchase a stress test unit for CMH’s new cardiovascular department headed by Dr. Stephanie Mendlow.

The stress test assesses the patient’s heart response to exercise by recording blood pressure and electrocardiogram while on a treadmill. The results show abnormalities in functional coronary artery disease.

The unit will cost between $15,000 and $20,000.

The auxiliary will work with the community to raise the needed money and the Follies will provide some fun along the way.
