Lt. Pullen in
SAC exercise
First Lt. Karen A. Pullen recently participated in the Strategic Air Command exercise, “Global Shield’89.”
The exercise tested the readiness of SAC units around the world, as well as Air Force reserve and Air National Guard units, to carry out orders which support the United States national policy.
Lt. Pullen is an airborne battle staff intelligence planner with the 2nd Airborne Command and Control Squadron at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska.
She is the daughter of retired Army Chief Warrant Officer John W. and Dorothy J. Pullen of Sperryville.
The lieutenant graduated from Manhantttan High School, Kansas, in 1981, and received a bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University, Manhattan, in 1985.
