Mr. and Mrs. Michael Vest, Johnny Vest and girls Leslie Anne and Meredith, Joanie Gomey and Leigh Vest of Virginia Beach spent the weekend with Mrs. Christine Vest and attended the annual fireman’s carnival. They also visited Mrs. John S. Dodson at Sperryville.

Mr. and Mrs. E.J. Pullen and children, Ashley and Japhen and Mr. and Mrs. Doug Willard and boys of Warrenton visited their grandmother, Mrs. Moffett Brady on Saturday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Crane of Lanham, Md. return to their home there on Saturday after spending a couple days here at their home and with relatives.

The Flint Hill Firemen and Ladies Auxiliary had a very successful carnival and wish to thank every one who helped in any way. The weather was great every night except for a downpour on Saturday evening which didn’t last long. There were lots of familiar faces and new ones and the event was epj oyed by the old and young. Bobby Gehringer of Flint Hill was the lucky winner of the 1989 Dodge Omni.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Curtis have returned home after a vacation.
