was editor and publisher of three small Wisconsin newspapers. In 1934, he became the managing editor of Ford Field, a trade magazine. Concurrently, he was active in public relations, serving as an officer of the Wisconsin Committee of Public Relations and representing insurance interests.
In addition to his journalistic and public relations work, Mr. Belson became active in the trucking industry, serving from 1933 to 1940 as Managing Director of the Wisconsin Motor Carriers Association. In 1934, he was elected as Charter Secretary of the newly formed American Trucking Associations, serving in that capacity for three years.
