FOR-SALE SIGN CONFUSION
Some buyers wrongly assume that homes with a “For Sale” sign in front of them are the ONLY houses on the market. The truth is, many homes—new litings, soon-to-be listings, or exclusive listings—never get a For Sale sign in their yard. Many buyers don’t realize that they may never see these homes unless they contacttheir Realtor first.
Another misconception is that a For Sale sign in front of a home with one Realtor’s name on it automatically eliminates the showing or sale of this home by other Realtors. Firsttime buyers, especially, are not aware that one Realtor can provide them with information on homes listed by another Realtor using the Multiple Listing Service (MLS), or for that matter, nearly any other home listed on the market.
Just to clear up this For Sale sign confusion once and for all, as a member of the MLS , our agency can show you or sell any home that s listed on the MLS market regardless of whose “For Sale’’ sign is in the front lawn.
