Katherine Powell
Mrs. Katherine CockeriU Powell, 65, of Herndon died on August 2.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday at Green Funeral Home in Herndon. Interment wTas at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Herndon.
Mrs. Powell was employed by the Fairfax County School System.
Survivors include her husband, James W. Powell; three daughters, Joan Katherine Jobe of Sterling Park, Sharon P. Waddell of Herndon and Beverly P. Inskeep of Clifton; two sons, James W. (Jim Bill) Powell Jr. of Herndon and Jeffrey W. Powell of Herndon and five grandchildren.
Also surviving are four sisters, Ellen C. Kephart of Herndon, Louise C. Peck of Spotsylvania, Sarah C. Latham of Amissville and Margaret Ann Peck of Herndon and two brothers, Harold C. Cockerill and James W. CockeriU, both of Herndon.
