It’s hard to remember when peaches have been so good. Do we say that every year? Possibly we do.
Each year’s peaches are something special even though the season for them seems to grow longer all of the time.
Even though peaches are imported from Chili and other states, it is when the local crop appears that we eat ourselves silly... peaches for snacks, peaches for cereal, peaches in ice cream, peaches on shortcake, peaches in drinks, peaches in pies and cobblers.
