Virginia’s Seventh Congressional District is blessed. Not only does it offer some of the state’s finest scenery—stretching as i[ does from Goochland and Hanover through the hills of Albemarle to the apple orchards of the upper Shenandoah. It also boasts the outstanding member of the slate’s congressional delegation. French Slaughter won his first term in 1984 and this year is seeking his third. We enthusiastically endorse his re-election.
