Sioux at Trading Post
Ken Sioux, representing the Brule Sioux Arts and Crafts Co-op in South Dakota, will visit The Trading Post on U.S. 211 just west of Washington on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 3 and 4 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. His exhibition will feature the exceptional beadwork and quiltwork done by members of the Sioux Co-op.
Acting class begins Nov. 6
Old Towne Theatre, a professional company which recently moved to Washington, will sponsor adult acting lessons at Washington's Town Hall beginning Tuesday, Nov. 6. The weekly sessions run from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and the fee is $25 per month. The company will also sponsor “Childrens' Theatre Games" each Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon beginning Nov. 10. Family portraits at RCES
The seventh grade class will sponsor family portraits as a fundraiser for the class trip. Ham and turkey dinnver
The Castleton Community Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor a ham and turkey dinner on Sunday, Nov. 4 from 1-6 p.m. at the fire hall. The cost for adults will be $8, children under 12, $4.
