Spaghetti supper
The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Company will sponsor an all-youcan-eat spaghetti supper on Saturday, Nov. 10 beginning at 5 p.m. at the fire hall. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 5 to 12 and children under 5 free.
Alumni basketball tourney
The RCHS Athletic Department will be holding the second annual men’s alumni basketball tournament Friday and Saturday, Nov. 23 and 24. This year’s tournament is co-sponsored by Shenandoah Motors in Front Royal which is providing game jerseys for all four teams and a trophy to the first place finisher and Most Valuable Player. Four coaches are needed immediately before teams can be selected. If interested, call Gary Leake from 8:30 a.m to 3:30 p.m. at 987-8575.
Welfare League dance
The Rappahannock Animal Welfare League is having a benefit country/westem dance on Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Amissville Fire Department. The dance will start at 8 and end at midnight. Cost of admission is $5 per person. No alcohol is allowed. Refreshments will be served by R.A.W.L. Two items will be raffled off after the dance ends, a TRS-80 Color Computer and a selection of country/westem tapes. Tickets may be pre-purchased by calling Tom Junk 987-8617 or Kimberly Novak at 937-5553.
