Of course, Democratic governors and mayors prefer to have the Federal government raise taxes to take care of welfare programs. It makes them look good, and gives them a large shield to hide behind while they run their States into the ground.
As to French Slaughter’s attendance at “cozy” and “insulated” functions, the functions were public, they were advertised. Y’all come, is our attitude, the more the merrier. Refreshments will be served.
If the liberals are afraid to expose their woolly philosophy to an experience that might card it, comb it, spin it, and weave it into something quite strong and useful, don’t blame a quiet Congressman who ignores the limelight, votes his conscience, and does a great job for his constituents.
As it happens, we are not going to be here on Election Day, so we have cast our absentee ballots, as many as we could manage, for French Slaughter. Please do thou go, friends, and do likewise.
