closings
The following businesses will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 6 for Election Day and Monday, Nov. 12 in observance of Veteran’s Day:
The Rappahannock National Bank in Washington will be closed both days.
The county government offices will be closed Nov. 12, as will the Social Services Department.
The Rappahannock Health Department and the Rappahannock Library will also be closed on Nov. 12.
The Farmers and Merchants Bank in Flint Hill will be closed Nov. 12.
Area post offices will also be closed on Nov. 12.
The Family Guidance Services of Rappahannock will be closed Nov. 12. In case of an emergency, clinic staff may be reached at 675-3329.
The Rappahannock News will observe normal business hours both days.
