The auditorium at the school was filled with more than 150 students, all eager to demonstrate their knowledge of Latin. The first three rounds consisted of three teams of four students Competing at a time. Questions covered a broad range of subject matter; translating various state mottos, identifying parts of speech or correct usage, or answering questions oh mythology.
