The teams fielded by Wakefield did not advance to the final round as the protocol of the Certamen dictates that the host school does not participate in final, rounds. In the Level I finals, Country Day from Charleston, W Va., Flint Hill Prep from Oakton, and Tuckahoe from Richmond competed.
Level II finalists were Thomas Dale School and Douglas Freeman from Richmond and Flint Hill Prep from Oakton. The finalists in Level III were Thomas Dale, Flint Hill, and St. Stephen’s from Alexandria.
Flint Hill Prep swept all divisions winning three trophies.
