In upgrading the original structure, the house was extended to the side and rear by adding an office, a guest bedroom, a large dining sitting room called the garden room and a large kitchen. A deck has been added outside of the kitchen area that provides a magnificent panorama of field and mountains.
Mrs. Kevis named the home “Crowfield” in honor of the several families of crows that make their home in the nearby woods and the beautiful vista of green fields that can be seen from the west windows of the house. The entrance hall to the home is covered with an unusual and handsome mural painting of the house and its landscape.
