During this unique program, now in its seventh year, students lived in dorms at the Virginia Commonwealth University and spent their days with mentors at VCU’s medical center. Half of the students had clinical projects, like surgery, family practice or physical therapy; others, like Miss Ciolfi, worked on research projects at MCV’s laboratories.
