John Roy
John Harold Roy, 53, of Steelton. died Wednesday, Sept. 13 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Lower Paxton Twp, Pa.
He was a retired maintenance foreman for Thomas J. Lipton Company and a member of Mount Sinai AME Church.
Surviving are his wife, Sally Ann Washington Roy; three daughters, Michele Solomon of Philadelphia, Pa., Carla Sapp of Harrisburg. Pa. and Pamela Roy of Virginia; three sons, John Roy Jr. of New Jersey, Michael Roy of Harrisburg, Pa. and Eiddie Davis of Virginia; five brothers, Clarence Roy, Edward Roy, William Roy HI, Reginald Roy and Timothy Roy, all of Harrisburg, Pa.; two sisters, Rebecca Alridge and Evelyn Tonsel, both of Harrisburg, Pa.; six grandchildren and an aunt, Maud E. Roy of Washington.
Services were held on Monday, Sept. 18 at his church. Burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Twp, Pa.
