to appear for scheduled appointments or make further payments. A capias was issued for his arrest and in March he again appeared in Rappahannock Circuit Court. The judge extended his probation another year and ordered him to pay $ 100 per month for costs and restitution. He made no such payment, and in April, 1993 another capias was issued for his arrest. He remains at large.
Mr. Estep’s last known address was 9510 Lomand Drive, Manassas.
John Joseph Messick, 32, is also wanted for parole violation. He was indicted in November 1985 for passing a bad check at Blue Ridge Guns of Amissville for $468.52. Prosecutor Peter Luke learned he had bad check charges against him totaling several thousand dollars in many other jurisdictions in Virginia including Culpeper, Fauquier, Orange, Spotsylvania. He was in fact in jail in Orange County. He pled guilty was sentenced to five years in jail with four years suspended. He was released on probation in March, 1987.
In April he was charged with possession of a concealed weapon in Fairfax County. He was arrested for probation violation in Culpeper. In Rappahannock- in August the judge gave him an additional six months jail time. With other probation violation charges in other counties he returned to prison.
