Julie Burke Myers was named Teacher of the Year at Cave Spring High School in Roanoke. She has been a teacher at the school for four years.
Mrs. Myers, formerly of Huntly, is the daughter of Richard and Judi Burke. She and her husband John have two sons and live in Roanoke.
