United Way's First
Auction Planned
A Great American Auction and Sale sponsored by the Piedmont United Way will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, Sept. 30 at Minutemen Printers in Culpeper.
Co-sponsors for the event are Minutemen Printers, WCVA 1490WCUL 103, I.ions ‘92 Club and Auctioneer E.M. “Buz” Jarrell.
An early morning yard sale will begin at 8:30 a.m. with an auction starting at 10 a.m. and will last until all items are sold. All proceeds from the sale will go to benefit the local United Way’s campaign.
Businesses, individuals and organizations are invited to join in the event by donating usable items to auction or sell. Help United Way by cleaning out the basement, the garage or the back room. Items may be left at Minutemen Printers from Monday to Friday. No clothes please.
