Everyone is invited to attend the annual Forest Grove Church picnic to be held Sunday, Oct. 1 at the Forest Grove School House immediately following the 11 a.m. church service.
Revival service at Forest Grove begins at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1 through Oct. 4. The Rev. Milton E. Futch, pastor, Forest Grove Baptist Church, will conduct the services.
Plan now to attend the Fauquier Hospital’s annual “Alive and Kicking” Health Fair to be held at the hospital from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday, Sept. 30. Several screenings will be offered free, including cholesterol testing.
Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company invites the public to their Open House from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14.
There will be displays. Both the Pegasus and Med-Star helicopters are set to come; also, Smokey the Bear, the crime dog McGruff, and Vince and Larry crash dummies.
There will be free hot dogs and drinks and numerous other activities. Hats and balloons will also be given away.
