Delaney, and Dave Tanner of Brandy Electric for there contributions) provided the electrical materials necessary for power and connection, and John Belotti and Bee & H Electric provided the needed materials to put in lighting in the attic and provide power to the Gas fired furnace. Mark Campbell, his father, and those in his company provided both labor and material and were the intregal part of this operation.
Although I did begin and initiate the project by asking, many people ask businesses in this day and age for a lot, but these businesses represent people caring about things not only close to them, but also far away.
The air conditioned hall provided a staging area when the flooding occurred in Rappahannock County. The sheriff told me that it provided comfort to those who were facing disaster and troubled times due to the treacherous Rush River. I had never known nor did the others who took part in this that this meeting hall would be so important so soon after the installation, but hearts of those who care are always timely.
Hands across Virginia was organized by the Governor, but this project was done spontaneously by those who know no boundaries to community. It is my sincere hope that word of this spreads and that this will encourage others to help even when the need may not be so obvious. My thanks to all you who listened and cared enough to respond. May God richly reward you for your caring hearts.
