With an x-ray facility, a laboratory and, perhaps, a pharmacy on site, a new medical office building planned for Warrenton will offer patients innovation and convenience.
Slated for completion in September 1996, the building represents the efforts of Warrenton Drs. Trice Gravatte, Steven Von Elten, Frank Black, David Evans and Bill Simpson, who will own the facility.
Those owners, who make up the Warrenton Professional Center, are putting the finishing touches on the 50,000-squarefoot building’s architectural design.
Located between the Hampton Inn and an apartment complex currently under construction on Blackwell Road, the brick building will consist of two or three floors, Gravatte said.
Private entrances and waiting rooms will be provided for pairs of doctors, he said, noting that the first floor of the building — 17,000 square feet — is already under contract for use.
This floor plan, Gravatte said, was selected to create the feel of a small doctor’s office in the large building.
The first floor, he said, will be occupied by the owners, who, excluding Simpson, are family practitioners. Simpson, along with Drs. Christine Metzing and Kevin McCarthy, will practice internal medicine on the first floor.
