Raymond Peyton
Richard Raymond Peyton, 91, of Culpeper died on Wednesday, Sept. 20 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct. 4, 1903, in Rappahannock to the late Richard Peyton and Maggie Deal Peyton.
Mr. Peyton was a member of the Culpeper Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Flossie Barfield Peyton; his son. Earl Peyton and his wife, Anne of Culpeper; his daughter-in-law, Charlene B. Peyton of Culpeper and one step-granddaughter, Virginia Anastasio
Mr. Peyton was preceded in death by his son, Kellv Pevton who died in 1993.
Graveside services were held on Friday, Sept. 22 at Fairview Cemeterv with the Rev. John S. Farrar officiating.
