Charles and Patsy Whorton spent Wednesday through Friday at The Homestead in Hot Spring, Va. While there they attended the Farm Bureau Sales Conference. The scenic com-^ mute to Hot Springs was quite enjoyable.

Jimmy and Myrtle Falls, Bernard Falls and Frankie Earley had lunch with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Falls in Dale City on Saturday.
The Woodville Baptist Church held services at the Overlook Nursing Home in Warrenton on Sunday afternoon.
Visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Burke during the week were Tim and Debbie Norman and Corey, Nikki Alther and Jonathan Wharton. While together they enjoyed sleigh riding down the slope on the Burke farm.
Woodville area teenagers, Jami and Windy Gillis were among eight high school students that presented a public speaking program to the Rappahannock Lions Club on Thursday. They were led by their teacher, Jon Heddleston.
This past week, the Woodville Lions joined other Lions Club members in the sight and hearing screening of the elementary school children at Rappahannock County Elementary School. A lot of Woodville children’s faces were recognized.
A baby shower was held for Michele Burke in Culpeper on Saturday afternoon. The hostesses were Debbie Suche and Rena Burke, grandmothers of the baby.
Those attending from this area were Bessie Norman, Flossie Wharton, Judy Atkins, Mary Wiley, Sadie Norman, Lisa Wiley and Sam, Debbie Norman and Corey, Lillian Ann Norman, Kitty Lou Day and Stefanie Johnson. The Culpeper and Madison areas were also well represented.
