She was bom Jan 6, 1909 in Rappahannock County, a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth White Fincham.
She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, John Robert Dennis, who died March 6, 1994.
After finishing high school in Culpeper in 1928, she attended business school in Washington, D.C.
After graduating, she was employed by the American Automobile Association for 44 years.
Moving back to Culpeper in 1976, she did volunteer work for several area organizations including Red Cross, Culpeper Hospital, Culpeper Historical Society and Culpeper
