The Community Concert Association of this six-county area announces its 1999-2000 series of top professional attractions to appear at Culpeper County High School. Opening night, Sunday, Oct. 3 will feature the renown Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra.
Next is the heavenly and hilarious Off-Broadway musical hit, “Forever Plaid”, with smooth songs of the 60s and 70s on Tuesday, Nov. 16.
On Valentine’s Day 2000 one may see the famed Chinese Golden Dragon Acrobats in action. Tenor, Robert Trentham will present serious and lighter songs and stories of the Civil War on March 19 at 3 p.m.
The season will close on Thursday, April 6, 2000 with the award-winning Russian classical pianist, Katia Skanavl.
All new subscribers who jtjin by April 24, 1999 may attend a free bonus concert that night, which is the final one in the Community Concert Association’s current series.
