Citrus Fruit, Valencia oranges and red grapefruit will be arriving at the Rappahannock Farmer’s Cooperative on Thursday afternoon after school. If you have not placed an order, there will be fruit available for purchase at the Coop Thursday and at the Coop and the Washington and Sperryville post offices on Saturday morning. This is such a worthwhile ftind raiser, and your support is so very much appreciated. Not to mention that the fruit is delicious!
• The next RCES PTO meeting is scheduled for Friday, March 19 at 3:30 in the Library. Please plan to attend. We are always happy to have new folks participate and share their ideas.
• Holly Pendleton, our technology specialist, is sponsoring a Technology Club at RCHS. These students are beginning to learn the basics of computer assemblage and repair among other things. This is the first step in the development of a Technologybased Entrepreneurial Program planned for the High School.
• Many students will be participating in a Soccer Clinic after school on Friday, March 19, at the upper fields at RCES. Varsity soccer players from RCHS will be helping to coach the younger players. Besides offering skill training, they will also be incredible role models for the less experienced players.
