As a participant for the second
year in the Trash Free Rappahannock program, I am delighted to see it receive the continuing support of the Rappahannock News. Gerald Ochs’ recent article, “An End to Trash Problems?”, presented readers with a balanced perspective on the roadside litter problem and detailed the corrective and consciousness-raising efforts undertaken by several residents, especially John Kiser, my neighbor and major sponsor of TFR, and Hunt Harris, Director of the Ragged Mountain Resource Center.
